Axelina Johansson, a freshman at Nebraska representing Sweden, won the women's shot put with a third-round mark of 56-11.50 (17.36m) at the 112th Drake Relays Presented by Xtream and Powered by Mediacom and Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa. It marked the first Drake Relays title in the event for Nebraska since 2004.
