Maddie Harris, a sophomore at Nebraska, won the women's javelin throw with a second-round effort of 165 feet (50.29m) at the 112th Drake Relays Presented by Xtream and Powered by Mediacom and Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Des Moines, Iowa. Harris became the first female athlete from Nebraska to win the javelin at Drake Relays since the Cornhuskers captured three in a row from 1989-91.
